It may be a dozen close friends and family gathered for a birthday, staying directly in the Maison du Régisseur, or a larger group that also takes over the park and the court of honour for an outdoor reception. The park, with its centuries-old trees and its view of the Aumance, suits a more informal moment: a buffet, games for the children, a group photo. The court of honour, more structured by the architecture of the château that surrounds it on three sides, lends itself better to an official moment: a speech, a toast, the arrival of the guests. As for a wedding, a covered plan B (the château’s drawing rooms or a tent in the courtyard) should be planned in case of rain, to be discussed while preparing the event.
